Fit a dash cam to your EV with a power arrangement assessed for your particular vehicle. Most EVs are accepted, subject to compatibility and an external battery pack.

Assessment before booking
Send the EV make, model and year, the dash cam model and your parking recording requirements. We confirm compatibility before accepting the installation rather than assuming every EV can use the same wiring method.
External battery pack required
An external battery pack is required for SpeedSafe EV installations. Packs start from $400 supplied and installed including GST, with camera installation and other requirements quoted separately.
Your installation quote
All advertised prices include GST. Hardwire kits are charged separately, with the cost depending on the camera. Mobile call-out is charged at $2 per kilometre from Sunshine. Confirm equipment and vehicle compatibility before booking.
Three-year installation warranty. Manufacturer product warranties are separate.

Can you install a dash cam in every EV?
Most EVs are accepted subject to a vehicle-specific compatibility assessment and an external battery pack. Universal compatibility is not promised.
Is parking mode guaranteed to record continuously?
No fixed recording duration is guaranteed. Compatibility, pack capacity, charging and camera settings affect parking recording.
